Dr Eric Holmes is a contemporary jeweller whose work unites fine metalwork, vitreous enamel, and precious stones with a scholarly preoccupation with repair, wearable heraldry, and the body as site of memory. Each piece is conceived as a small architecture — a ring, a pendant, a brooch — capable of carrying a private sign.
